CURRENT EFFORTS: Hurricane Relief food drive in Jack’s River, Oracabessa in early November, 2025.
The first drive was at Jack’s River Primary, a school Green Team has worked with for over 12 years. It is a vibrant place with a principal, Miss Johnson, and her teachers very committed to the students in this rural school. The school also served as a shelter in the storm for displaced community residents.
Pictures below are of the first food drive. We also distributed over 200 packets of vegetable seeds that we called “seeds of hope.”
